BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

Rosacea is a skin condition which causes a rash commonly found on the face, either the forehead, cheeks, chin or nose.

The skin condition causes redness (blushing) due to the blood vessels dilating, ultimately causing the face to appear flushed. You may notice a burning or stinging feeling when using water or skincare products.

Anything that causes your rosacea to flare is called a trigger. Sunlight Is a common trigger but others include heat, stress, alcohol, and spicy foods.

Despite rosacea being dominant in women, men tend to suffer more severely. Rosacea occurs when the skin is sensitive and painful to touch. One way you can identify whether you have rosacea is by feeling the affected area, as rosacea affected areas may feel hot or sting.

Rosacea can affect levels of self-esteem and self-confidence, but you do not need to suffer, as treatment can help symptoms. If you feel affected by your rosacea, look no further than London City Skin Clinic, as we can provide a wide range of Rosacea treatments that can improve the appearance of your skin.
