Where can you inject Botox ?

Where can you inject Botox?

Forehead

The horizontal lines on your forehead are due to the muscles that lift your Brows, and Botox can be injected to relax these muscles, giving that smooth appearance

Frown

The so called area is due to the inward and downward movement of the muscles that lead to frowning, and Botox is the most effective treatment for softening the frown, or stopping it completely

Eyes

The œcrow’s at the side of the eyes can be treated to soften the ageing effect around the eyes, which is a treatment to consider when you want to rejuvenate around the eyes and look good for your age

Eyebrow lift

You can create an arch of the eyebrow by injecting Botox into specified muscles of the forehead and around the eye area

Bunny Lines

For those of you that scrunch your nose, small amounts of Botox into this area can soften this effectively

Gummy Smile

Not may people know that you can easily lower the top lip to be more level with your teeth, if you expose too much gum when you smile. Botox can do this by injecting carefully into the correct muscles

Lip lines

Smokers typically have the vertical lines around the top lip, due to the pursed lip action during smoking, but also accelerated by the effects of smoking on the skin itself.  Botox can soften these lines, and also certain light dermal fillers are also effective for this area.

Marionette lines, Sad smile or down-turned mouth

As you age, there are certain factors such as volume and skin changes that make the edges of the mouth more downturned. There are muscles which attach at the corner of the mouth and to the bottom of the jaw. By injected Botox into these small muscles, there can be a lifting effect to the corners, creating more of a smile.  Dermal fillers can also be used for the volume change.

Dimpled Chin

Botox is great for smoothing those bumps on the chin, in particular the dimpling effect when the muscle here is too contracted

Neck Platysma bands

It’s the giveaway of your age: the sagging skin around the neck.

When Botox is injected into the tight platysma muscles, the vertical strip of muscles that stands out from your neck when you grimace – it releases the tension caused by talking, eating and smiling, and stops the neck looking scraggy, both vertically and along the horizontal ‘bracelet’ lines.

Neck for Non-Surgical facelift ( Nefertiti Lift )

By injecting Botox around the jawline into a thin muscle called the Platysma, we can relax the muscle, so that muscles on the upper face become stronger and they in this way perform a non surgical lift upwards.

Jaw Muscles

As our previous Blog focused on, we can relax the muscle that can be overactive with teeth clenching and grinding, but also Botox injections into the muscle slims down the face to give less of a square jaw appearance

Excessive Sweating ( Hyperhidrosis)

Botox can be injected into areas such as the armpits, hands and feet, for those who suffer with excessive sweating. By injecting Botox, you can stop the nerve signal to the sweat glands to allow sweating to reduce significantly, and this is a highly effective treatment for such an embarrassing problem.
